How to modify Epson L18050 to DTF printer

Below we have described all the necessary and additional steps that you need to complete to convert the l18050 printer for DTF printing

Remove the roller bar

This is the minimum required to modify the l18050 into a dtf printer

Install xp600 manifold

This modification will simplify service maintenance and make it possible to install dampers with valves

Install big ink bottles

In large bottles, ink produces less sediment and is easier to shake. You can also install a white ink mixer

Replace CR motor

Replacing the CR motor with a larger motor will save you from motor overheating and printer slowdowns during large print volumes. Need adopt plate.

Calibrate PW and PE sensors

Calibrate sensors with film and Epson adjustment program. This way the printer will always see the film and load it correctly

Adjust SMAP

Adjust SMAP value to 25-35 with Epson adjustment program to prevent stripes on the print. 

maintenance cartridge

You need a chip resetter for maintenance cartridge. you should also remove the filler from it and monitor the level
